Coverage

Self-financing at least 55%

The maximum grant amount per company is 500,000 euros, of which up to 200,000 can be received as de minimis aid (VTA).

The total VTA* for a company must not exceed 300,000 euros over three years.

Small enterprises receive 45% support for project costs.

Medium-sized enterprises receive 35% support for project costs.

Large enterprises receive 25% support for project costs.

Grant application conditions

Applicant Eligibility
  • Companies registered in the Estonian Commercial Register
  • The company has been operating for at least 2 years and employs at least 8 full-time people
  • The company's export sales turnover in the last financial year is at least 50,000 euros or the total sales turnover over the last 2 financial years has grown by an average of 5% or more per year
  • The company's owners and management have a clear ambition and potential to grow internationally and bring new or significantly improved products and/or services to the market
  • The planned development plan must contribute to the development of at least one of the triple transition directions (innovation, digitalization, sustainable development)
  • The company's activities and/or planned development must be aimed at developing at least one focus area of the 'Research and Development, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Development Plan 2021-2035'
  • The development plan must contribute to maintaining the principles and achieving the goals of Estonia 2035
