Alliances for Education and Enterprises are part of the Alliances for Innovation programme under Erasmus+, aiming to strengthen Europe’s innovation capacity by boosting cooperation and the flow of knowledge between higher education, vocational education and training (VET), and enterprises. These alliances focus on talent and skills development, particularly digital and green skills, to adapt to changes across the labour market and broader socio-economic environment. They support transnational, result-driven projects that tackle societal and economic challenges, such as climate change, digitisation, and the emergence of new technologies. Supported actions include fostering innovative and multidisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning, supporting STEM skills development, setting up incubators in education institutions, fostering corporate social responsibility, stimulating entrepreneurial mindsets, improving skill relevance and quality, and developing joint educational programmes or micro-credentials. Partnerships must involve at least one VET and one higher education organisation and foster collaboration between education and business sectors.
