This grant aims to fund pre-competitive research and innovation into novel tools, methods, and technologies to foster health innovations that improve the prevention, interception, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases, contributing to a better understanding of the determinants of health. Projects are expected to deliver people-centred, effective, and affordable innovations and to strengthen the EU’s health industry competitiveness and technological leadership in line with the IHI JU Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda. Applications should be collaborative, cross-sectoral partnerships focused on unmet public health needs, translation of research into innovative solutions, and synergies with existing initiatives. Topics include digitalisation, artificial intelligence, greener and more sustainable healthcare, and deployment of innovative health technologies.
