Boosting innovation for a better understanding of the determinants of health

Personnel costs involved in research, innovation, demonstration, and coordination activities.

Costs of equipment and consumables used exclusively for the project.

Subcontracting and purchase costs as required by project needs.

Travel expenses and dissemination costs.

Costs related to regulatory and ethical compliance, including open access and data management.

Excellence: Clarity and pertinence of objectives; soundness of the concept and credibility of the proposed methodology.

Impact: Extent to which the outputs would contribute to expected impacts as set out in the Work Programme; measures to maximise impact (including dissemination, exploitation, communication).

Quality and efficiency of implementation: Quality and effectiveness of the work plan, including extent to which resources are matched to the project, and competence, experience, and complementarity of the consortium partners.

Applicants from non-eligible countries (see Annex B) cannot receive funding unless specific provisions are in place.

Proposals overlapping or duplicating efforts with other projects without clear justification or synergy plan.

Any entities subject to EU financial sanctions or exclusion as per Annex C.

Periodic technical and financial reports required as specified in the Model Grant Agreement, following Horizon Europe guidelines.

Final project report upon completion, including impact assessment and dissemination of results.

Proposals must be submitted electronically via the EU Funding & Tenders Portal using the official templates.

Applications must include all required annexes (budget table, in-kind contribution commitment, etc.).

Part A: Administrative information completed in the Submission System.

Part B: Technical description of the project (maximum 50 pages).

Detailed budget table (Excel template).

Declaration of in-kind contribution commitment.

If applicable, annexes related to clinical studies, ethics, and contributing partners.
