All direct costs necessary for the implementation of the project as per Horizon Europe rules, including personnel, research costs, travel, material, equipment, and sub-contracting.

Indirect costs are covered by a flat-rate as specified by the Annotated Model Grant Agreement.

Excellence – Quality and pertinence of the project’s objectives, soundness of the proposed methodology, and ambition to go beyond the state of the art.

Impact – Contribution to expected impacts linked to IHI JU’s Specific Objective 5; strengthening the EU’s health industry, implementation of EU Life Sciences Strategy, HTA methodology innovation, patient access, and uptake of digital/AI solutions.

Quality and Efficiency of the Implementation – Quality and effectiveness of the work plan, the consortium’s capacity, soundness of risk and resource allocation, and cross-sectoral collaboration.

Organizations that are not eligible under Horizon Europe rules, including entities excluded from EU funding due to legal, ethical, or financial grounds.

Applicants not meeting the specific eligibility and consortium requirements of the IHI JU call.

Reporting is governed by the Model Grant Agreement of Horizon Europe and includes periodic scientific and financial reports, as well as project deliverables and milestones.

Open access to project results (including datasets and publications) is strongly encouraged.

Special reporting requirements may apply for projects involving clinical studies, patient data, or in-kind contributions.

Provide all compulsory annexes, such as budget sheets, declarations of in-kind contributions, and information related to clinical studies, as required.
