This grant aims to improve the capacity of youth organisations, particularly in eligible third countries not associated to the Erasmus+ Programme in Sub-Saharan Africa (Region 9). The objectives include strengthening the involvement of young people in democratic life, enhancing their entrepreneurial and innovative capacities, fostering transnational cooperation, ensuring inclusiveness, solidarity, and sustainability, promoting transnational learning, scaling existing practices, using digital connectivity, and linking results to local communities and job creation. Projects should raise the capacity of youth organisations outside formal education, promote non-formal learning especially among youth with fewer opportunities, support and develop youth work, foster schemes for non-formal learning mobility, and contribute to the Youth Mobility for Africa flagship initiative. The grant supports bilateral engagement between the EU and Africa, with the broader purpose of promoting youth mobility, citizenship, and professional skills.
