This grant funds cross-border renewable energy (CB-RES) works projects that contribute to the Clean Industrial Deal, the Paris Agreement, and the EU's 2030 climate and energy targets, supporting the Union’s objective for climate neutrality. The objective is to promote cross-border cooperation between EU Member States, or between Member States and third countries, for planning, development, and cost-effective exploitation of renewable energy sources, as well as integration with storage facilities, contributing to long-term decarbonisation, energy market integration, and enhanced security of supply. Activities supported may include purchase, supply, and deployment of components, systems, services, software, as well as construction, development, installation, and acceptance of installations within CB RES projects.
