Excellence – Soundness of the proposed approach, credibility of the research and innovation objectives, and level of ambition and advancement beyond the state-of-the-art

Impact – Contribution to the expected outcomes and impacts as set out in the work programme, including fostering trustworthy, explainable, and interoperable cognitive AI systems for Europe

Quality and Efficiency of Implementation – Quality and effectiveness of the project plan, collaboration arrangements, resource allocation, and risk management

No specific sector or business exclusions are stipulated in the challenge topic beyond general eligibility restrictions for single-beneficiary projects (mid-caps and larger companies).

Grant agreement will be based on the Lump Sum Model Grant Agreement (MGA) under Horizon Europe, requiring regular progress and financial reporting as specified.

Project-specific reporting obligations will be detailed in the grant agreement and may include milestone achievements, deliverables, and dissemination activity reports.

Proposals must be submitted via the Funding & Tenders Portal using the online application system.

Applicants must complete the standard application form (Part A and Part B) and provide all required information, including detailed workplans, budgets, and administrative data.

Annexes and forms are to be included as required by the instructions.
