Applicants must be established in Widening countries. Entities outside these countries are not eligible as coordinators.

Only one proposal per legal entity is permitted.

Proposals must quantify expected impacts, including institutional changes, increased research output, improved research management and administration, and additional indicators where relevant.

Applicants must submit through the Funding & Tenders Portal Submission System using the relevant application forms and templates.

Submission is single-stage and must include all required documents and annexes (e.g., Europass CV of the prospective ERA Research Manager, self-assessment of capacities, implementation strategy, and letters of commitment).

Letter of commitment from the prospective ERA Research Manager (at least 50% FTE commitment).

Letter of commitment from the head of the coordinator institution.

CV of the prospective ERA Research Manager (Europass format).

Description of the implementation strategy for institutional capacity enhancement.

Description of the team composition and open recruitment process.

Timeline and contractual arrangements for the ERA Research Manager's appointment and on-site presence.

Outline of institutional reforms and impact indicators.
