Erasmus Mundus Design Measures aim to reinforce the integration and international dimension of the European Education Area by enhancing the capacities of higher education institutions to modernise and internationalise their curricula. The grant supports the development of new, innovative, highly integrated international master programmes delivered jointly by a consortium of higher education institutions (HEIs) from EU Member States or third countries associated to the programme. The objectives are to enrich academic perspectives via international collaboration, attract global talent, enhance universities' competitiveness, and develop joint mechanisms for quality assurance, accreditation, and recognition of degrees and credits. These programmes target education at level 7 of the ISCED 2011 standard. The initiative may involve HEIs from third countries not associated to the programme, as well as educational and non-educational partners with relevant expertise.
