Exclusion for Hungarian public interest trusts | As of 16th December 2022, entities established under Hungarian Act IX of 2021 are not eligible for funded roles unless Council measures are lifted. |

Financial support to third parties | Support can only be provided to local and/or regional authorities from an 'associated region' with a maximum grant of EUR 100,000 per region. |

Open science practices | If projects collect in-situ data and marine observations, beneficiaries must make them openly available through EMODnet based on FAIR principles. |

Demonstration site requirements | Demonstration sites must be located on natural lakes with a surface area exceeding 1 km². |

Collaboration with associated regions | Proposals must engage at least 3 'associated regions' to showcase the feasibility, replicability, and scalability of the solutions developed. |
