Future main battle tank platform systems

This grant supports the development of future main battle tank (MBT) platform systems, aiming to enhance operational capabilities such as multi-spectrum protection, survivability, advanced mobility, superior firepower, long-range threat detection, advanced command and control, operation with reduced crew or unmanned, improved logistical sustainability, and manufacturing affordability. The objective is to ensure technological leadership in MBT design for EU Member States and associated countries. Activities funded include studies, design, prototyping, testing, and related development actions.
