Call for Applications for Networks of Towns/Municipalities (CERV-2025-CITIZENS-TOWN-NT)

The aim of the support is to promote interaction between citizens of different countries, especially through networks of towns and municipalities, providing them with practical experience of the richness and diversity of the European Union's common heritage and raising awareness that this is the foundation for a shared future.

Grant application conditions

Applicant type
  • Beneficiaries are legal entities (public or private law organizations), located in an EU country or a country associated with the CERV program. The lead applicant (consortium leader) must represent a local government.
Geographical limitation
  • The project activities must take place in at least two different EU countries (or countries associated with the CERV program). The application must include at least four applicants (the lead applicant 'coordinator' and at least three co-applicants who are not affiliates or associated partners) from at least four different eligible countries, of which at least two must be EU member states.
Project focus
  • Projects must focus on bringing citizens together to discuss and share best practices, thereby helping to increase citizen engagement in society and their active participation in the democratic life of the Union.
Project duration
  • Projects must last between 12 and 24 months.
