Investment support for the prevention of particularly dangerous animal diseases for the period 2023–2027

The aim of the support is to increase biosecurity on agricultural holdings to prevent and hinder the spread of particularly dangerous animal diseases (e.g. foot-and-mouth disease).

Grant application conditions

Type of applicant	Entrepreneur (according to the Commercial Code), who is registered in the register of agricultural animals and owns at least one livestock unit or bee colony.
Form and purpose of the support	Investments to ensure biosecurity: construction of a building or facility and purchase of machinery, equipment, or other items.
Previous status of the support	The activity must not be completed before submitting the application to PRIA.
Support rate depending on sales revenue	If sales revenue < €250,000: up to 80% of eligible costs If sales revenue > €250,000: up to 60% Minimum rate: 15% Maximum €400,000 during the entire strategic plan period
Restriction on supported products	Support is only allowed for agricultural products listed in Annex I of the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU, except for fisheries, aquaculture products, and Christmas trees.
Order of satisfaction of applications	In order of submission until the budget is exhausted
