Co-creating solutions for soil health in Living Labs

This grant aims to establish and operationalize Living Labs across Europe to co-create and test solutions for soil health in real-life settings. The initiative supports the European Green Deal and the Mission 'A Soil Deal for Europe' to address soil health challenges and achieve sustainable development goals.

Grant application conditions

Eligible Countries
  • Described in Annex B of the Work Programme General Annexes, including EU Member States and Associated Countries.
Project Approach
  • Proposals must apply the multi-actor approach, involving stakeholders such as researchers, land managers, and policymakers.
Exclusions
  • Living labs on carbon farming are excluded, as a dedicated topic for carbon farming is addressed in another work programme.
Financial Support to Third Parties
  • Beneficiaries may provide grants up to EUR 200,000 to third parties for active participation in Living Labs.
Baseline Requirements
  • Living labs must establish baselines for selected soil health challenges to monitor progress over time.
