LIFE Operating Grants

Operating grants cover the general annual activities of the organisation and can include both direct and indirect costs related to the operating budget, as per the LIFE Programme guidelines.

Evaluation and award criteria, including scoring and thresholds, are described in section 9 of the call document.

Only non-profit making entities may apply. For-profit or commercial organisations are not eligible.

Specific reporting requirements will be set out in the grant agreement following the Model Grant Agreement and LIFE Programme regulations.

Applicants must submit a proposal in compliance with the requirements set out in the call document, including the specific application form and annexed detailed budget table.

Mandatory: Applicants must also apply to the LIFE-2026-NGO-OG-FPA call for proposals to secure a Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA OG) as a prerequisite for receiving a Specific Operating Grant Agreement.
