Increasing competitiveness and resilience of multimodal freight transport and logistics for competitive supply chains

This grant aims to develop and demonstrate advanced tools and solutions to enhance the competitiveness, sustainability, resilience, security, and freight transport capacity of European multimodal freight transport networks. Expected outcomes include real-time visibility, tracking and predictive analytics for multimodal services, and strengthened data integration for more agile, flexible, and resilient logistic systems, supporting the European supply chain.

Grant application conditions

Admissibility Conditions	Proposal page limit and layout as described in Annex A and Annex E of the Horizon Europe Work Programme General Annexes and in Part B of the Application Form.
Eligible Countries	Applicants must be from eligible countries described in Annex B of the Work Programme General Annexes. Certain non-EU/non-Associated countries may be eligible for funding as specified.
Control Restrictions	Entities established in eligible countries but controlled directly or indirectly by China or by a legal entity established in China are not eligible to participate.
Satellite Data Usage	If satellite-based earth observation, navigation, or related services are used, Copernicus and/or Galileo/EGNOS data and services must be used (other data/services may be additionally used).
Financial and Operational Capacity	Applicants must comply with financial and operational capacity requirements described in Annex C of the Work Programme General Annexes.
Legal and Financial Set-Up	The granting authority may object to transfers of ownership or exclusive licensing of results up to 4 years after the end of the action, as per provisions in Annex 5.
Eligible Costs	Costs will be covered as lump sums defined by the relevant EU decision on the use of lump sums in Horizon Europe.
