This grant aims to develop multiple rocket launcher solutions capable of countering the latest threats by increasing the range and precision of indirect fire, maximising interoperability, and optimising cost-effectiveness of operations in high-intensity and GNSS-contested battle scenarios. It addresses the need of EU Member States and EDF associated countries to improve indirect fire and rocket artillery capacities, particularly as many currently rely on non-European systems that are nearing end-of-life. The grant contributes to the STEP objectives for the development of defence technologies and supports activities such as studies, design, and other actions eligible for development under the EDF programme.
