The National Cyber Hubs grant aims to create and strengthen world-class national cyber hubs across the European Union. These hubs will serve as central points for gathering, analysing, and sharing information on cybersecurity threats and incidents, facilitating threat intelligence and situational awareness, and supporting collaboration across public and private cybersecurity actors. Activities include the deployment of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation tools, and interconnection with cross-border cyber hubs, as well as training initiatives to boost cybersecurity capacity in line with the European Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF). The programme targets the procurement of infrastructure, tools, and services necessary for the effective operation of national cyber hubs, including measures to monitor and protect critical infrastructures, such as submarine cables, and to ensure early warning capabilities for critical sectors.
