Staff, travel, materials, and platforms necessary for public and youth involvement, including accessibility and inclusivity measures

Relevance to the topic and expected impact on public engagement and scientific literacy

Quality and effectiveness of the work plan, including the proposed methodology and activities

Quality of the consortium, capacity to reach large and diverse stakeholder communities

Potential for achieving broad participation, inclusivity, and wide geographical coverage

Capacity to promote gender equality and address gender-specific challenges where relevant

Compliance with Horizon Europe award criteria and thresholds

Only proposals with a core focus on research and innovation in line with ERA objectives are eligible. Entities not able to participate according to the Horizon Europe rules (e.g., due to sanctions, conflict of interest, or financial ineligibility) are excluded.

Beneficiaries must comply with Horizon Europe project reporting requirements, including periodic and final reports on technical and financial progress.

Project results should include lessons learned, recommendations, and documentation of engagement activities undertaken.

Submission of proposals via the EU Funding & Tenders Portal using the standard Horizon Europe application form (HE CSA template), adhering to all specified guidelines and annexes.

Single-stage submission and evaluation process.

Mandatory: Complete application form, detailed project description, budget table, description of activities, consortium composition and roles.

Additional supporting documents as required in the call-specific instructions (e.g., Letters of Commitment, CVs of key personnel, evidence of consortium eligibility).
