Industrial reinforcement actions for forging/machining, key sub-systems, composite materials, assembly/integration of end products, Manufacturing as a Service (MaaS), and dual-use heavy industry conversion options for defence surge.

Expenses related to the integration and procurement of solutions for physical and cyber protection of production-relevant networks and assets, including compliance with the NIS2 Directive and alignment with ISO/IEC 27001 and IEC 62443.

Cost of activities supporting risk management in production continuity, integration, maintainability, and upgrade readiness.

Award criteria, scoring, and thresholds are described in section 9 of the call document.

Dedicated KPIs must be defined in the proposal, such as added throughput, time-to-rate, lead-time reduction, yield/quality improvements, qualified output, reserved capacity, number of staff trained, and indicators for risk mitigation (supply-chain robustness, integration maturity, maintainability readiness, obsolescence management outcomes).

Achievement of measurable improvements in site security and production continuity, linkage to overall project risk register, and demonstration of reduced risk exposure affecting production ramp-up or delivery reliability.

Actions that started before 5 March 2024 or are completed before the signature of the Grant Agreement are not eligible.

The project shall define, baseline, and track KPIs such as throughput, lead-time reduction, yield/quality, reserved capacity, and risk mitigation indicators.

Physical and cyber protection work packages require measurable reporting on improvements in site and production security, connected to threat assessment and risk reduction.

Submission and evaluation are single-stage.

Proposals are to be submitted through the EU Funding & Tenders Portal Submission System.

Use of application form templates and compliance with the call document requirements.

Legal entity validation (including LEAR appointment and financial capacity assessment).

Alignment with objectives, scope, and priorities of the call topic and applicable EU regulations.
