RAISE Doctoral Networks for AI in Science (RAISE pilot)

Eligible expenses include costs for doctoral researchers’ recruitment, training, mobility, and research activities as established under the MSCA Doctoral Networks rules.

Unit contributions cover researcher salaries, management, training, and research costs as detailed in the MSCA guidelines.

Proposals are evaluated under the MSCA Doctoral Networks criteria, including:

• Excellence

• Impact

• Quality and efficiency of the implementation

Thresholds and weighting follow the rules described in the MSCA part of the Work Programme. Experts will also assess the proposal's relevance to the RAISE topic.

Applicants must not be excluded under the financial and operational capacity rules set out in Annex C of the Work Programme General Annexes.

Other exclusions may apply as specified in the MSCA and Horizon Europe eligibility rules.

Grantees must comply with reporting requirements set out in the Model Grant Agreement (MGA) for Horizon Europe, including periodic and final reports on progress, outcomes, and expenditures.

Proposals must be submitted electronically through the Horizon Europe Funding & Tenders Portal using the specific MSCA Doctoral Networks application template.

Proposers must indicate their intention to be considered for the RAISE Doctoral Networks in their application.
