RFCS-2026-02-RPJ Steel Research projects

Research projects under this call focus on investigative or experimental work in the steel sector to acquire knowledge that facilitates specific practical objectives. Activities are expected to begin at TRL 1-3 and reach TRL 4-5 by project completion. Proposals must address one or more RFCS objectives for steel, as set out in Council Decision 2008/376/EC, and include an assessment of industrial, economic, social, and environmental benefits.
