SNS Operations and Output optimisation

This grant supports the effective implementation of the SNS Joint Undertaking (JU) Programme, contributing to synergies across SNS JU Phases 1, 2, and 3. It aims to coordinate, analyse, and communicate the programme’s results at a European and global level. Key activities include structured data analysis from SNS JU projects, progress tracking against Key Performance and Value Indicators (KPIs and KVIs), outreach through events such as the EuCNC & 6G Summit conferences, facilitation of engagement with stakeholders, and support for European involvement in global standardisation. The project will also encourage community collaboration, support working groups, monitor international cooperation, develop cartography of relevant EU initiatives, and reinforce Europe’s impact and visibility in 6G research and innovation.

Grant application conditions

Applicant Type	Proposals must be submitted by legal entities established in EU Member States or Associated Countries.
Legal Entity Ownership	Entities directly or indirectly controlled by a non-eligible country or non-eligible country entity may not participate, unless it is demonstrated via guarantees positively assessed by the eligible country of establishment that there is no negative impact on the Union’s strategic interests.
High-risk Supplier Exclusion	Entities assessed as high-risk suppliers of mobile network communication equipment, or those they control/own, are not eligible.
Exclusion of certain countries	Entities established in Russia, Belarus, or in non-government-controlled territories of Ukraine, and entities outside Russia whose ownership structure is over 50% Russian, are not eligible.
Gender Equality Plan	Public bodies, research organisations, or higher education establishments must possess a Gender Equality Plan. Projects must address the gender dimension in research and innovation content where relevant.

Collaboration agreement	Selected projects must sign a written collaboration agreement referred to in the Model Grant Agreement.
