Strengthening skills and capacity for the deployment of EU Missions
This grant aims to strengthen research-driven capacity-building and institutional readiness to accelerate the deployment of innovative solutions in support of the five EU Missions. The action targets local authorities in order to empower them to fully leverage the Missions’ potential by conducting skills inventory and gap analysis, developing methods for identifying barriers and training needs, and implementing targeted capacity-building activities such as training programmes, peer-learning networks, and mentoring schemes. The ultimate goal is to foster experimentation, impact-driven action, and enhanced collaboration and knowledge sharing across regions, thereby increasing the uptake and scaling of innovations and improving the overall implementation of the EU Missions.
