Support for the adoption of artificial intelligence

Eligible is the cost necessary for developing and preparing to bring to market an artificial intelligence product or solution.

Eligible is the cost necessary for integrating artificial intelligence into an existing product, service, or process.

The support is provided based on a unit price, and EIS does not assess the actual distribution of project costs.

At the end of the project, there is no need to submit cost or payment documents, but project activities and the required result must be achieved and evidenced.

The applicant meets the requirements established in the regulation.

The application meets the requirements established in the regulation.

The project contributes to the objective of testing or adopting an artificial intelligence solution.

The project achieves at least one of the required performance indicators: growth in sales revenue, improvement of cost-effectiveness, increase in productivity, growth in export turnover, or increase in the degree of automation of business processes.

The result of the project is verifiable based on at least a prototype or test results.

There are sufficient budgetary funds to finance the application.

Eligible applications are approved on a rolling basis until the budget is exhausted.

Support is not provided in cases excluded under Article 1(1) of Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2831.

Support is generally not provided for primary production of fishery and aquaculture products.

Support is not provided for activities related to primary production of agricultural products.

Support is not provided for costs directly related to export activities or aid depending on preference for domestic goods or services over imported ones.

Support is not provided to entrepreneurs for whom liquidation, compulsory dissolution, or bankruptcy proceedings have been initiated, or a bankruptcy ruling has been made.

Support is not provided if the applicant or application does not meet at least one requirement established in the regulation, or if the measure’s budget has been exhausted.

The final report must be submitted within 30 calendar days from the end of the project's eligibility period.

The final report must include a description of the main activities of the project, information on achievement of the objective, the changes and impact on the company’s economic performance resulting from the project.

Achievement of results must be evidenced by at least a prototype or test results and, according to the instructions on the EIS website, also with a short video.

EIS approves or rejects the final report within 30 calendar days and may set a deadline for the report to be supplemented.

Information related to de minimis aid and relevant supporting documents must be retained for ten years from receipt of aid.

Applications open on August 24, 2026 at 9:00.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the measure’s budget is exhausted.

The application is submitted in the electronic structural funds grant environment.

The standard application processing period is 20 working days. In justified cases, EIS may extend the process by up to ten working days.

If there are deficiencies, there are ten working days to remedy them.

The support is paid as a fixed-sum payment after the project activities have been completed, the final report submitted, and approved by EIS.
