Retrofitting of (bio)refineries industrial plants towards higher-value bio-based products

The grant aims to retrofit existing industrial facilities into biorefineries to produce higher-value bio-based products, contributing to the EU Bioeconomy Strategy, Circular Economy Action Plan, and EU Industrial Strategy. Projects will focus on sustainability, circularity, and creating local/regional ecosystems while addressing challenges like equipment conversion, workforce reskilling, and establishing bio-based value chains.
